The NCAA championships. A great reason to have a party. Loren's boyfriend was having a party at his house, so some people got together. Pizza and everything.

When the game ended, everyone went home. Kevin, Katy, and Michelle got a ride from Loren. Loren had recently gotten her license, and wasn't supposed to be driving, but her car was there, and everyone just wanted to go home. Besides, Loren had driven before. What could happen?

The four were traveling down Prosperity Church Road. It seemed like every other car ride, but little did they know, this would be the last car ride that they would ever go on. When they got to the 4800 block of the road, things went terribly wrong. Loren turned the corner too fast. The Mitsubishi Montero SUV hit the curb, causing it to flip over on to its top. The vehicle slammed into a tree that stood on the side of the road. Kevin and Michelle, who hadn't been wearing seatbelts, were thrown from the SUV, and were killed. Katy and Loren, who had been wearing their seatbelts, remained in the SUV. The accident left Loren in fair condition, and Katy in serious condition.

Would Kevin and Michelle have survived if they were wearing seatbelts?  What went through Kevin and Michelle's minds as the Montero hit the curb? What would their lives have been like? Would Kevin have been a dad, and would Michelle have been a mother? Who would they have married? What kind of jobs would they have? Would Michelle have been the fashion or interior designer that she wanted to be? Would Kevin be an athlete? The answers to these questions, and many others, will never be known.
